SAN ANTONIO - Self-described "full-blooded Cajun" and Louisiana native Darren Elisar was once a finalist in the World's Jambalaya Cooking Contest in Gonzales, LA.
But today, the Pfizer health care representative and his wife stir up local competition in San Antonio. Elisar recently hosted 50 friends and physicians for a red beans and rice cook off, and he's toying with the idea of hosting his own miniature jambalaya tourney.
