Explore combining clinical trial data with real world data collected in real clinical practice: Clinical trials are conducted in controlled circumstances, but real clinical practice is not. Not every diagnosis is correct. Not all prescribed drugs are taken by the patient according to the prescription. Some patients have more than one disease, or take more than one medicine. The reality of treating and curing patients is much more complex and messy than the orderly world of clinical trials.
