Merck US Job Cuts "Likely to Affect About 300 Workers"

As it builds news research hubs in Massachusetts and California, Merck's job cuts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are likely to affect about 300 workers,
Although the company is not currently providing a breakdown of the changes or specific numbers of impacted employees, a Merck spokesperson told Fortune: “[W]e anticipate that less than 10 percent of discovery, pre-clinical and early development colleagues will be impacted".
