But all that has become much easier with the Partnership for Prescription Assistance (PPA), a one-stop-shop for industry-sponsored assistance programs. Originally, the PPA was to be run independently of PhRMA. But when Billy Tauzin joined as president, industry leaders felt PhRMA was best positioned to move PPA forward. Here, PhRMA reports on its early successes, and how campaign tactics, such as the "Help is Here Express" bus, " should be required viewing for all pharma CEOs," says PhRMA's Ken Johnson.
