On the tough times ahead:
In five or 10 years, some companies will be here and some will not—and it is the leadership of the company that will determine that. The irony is that it will require a lot of investment in both capital and human resources to be successful at a time when maybe those investments are more likely to drop. It is going to take courage to figure out just what are the key issues, where the company needs to go, and then make those expenditures into the long term health of the company.
