Naoki Okamura: Post-Patent Plan and Purpose

Astellas CEO Naoki Okamura is putting a “patient axis” operating model, a broader portfolio of strategic brands and a new generation of science to work in the company’s bid to return to record growth.

Just a few days after Astellas Pharma formally unveiled its new five-year corporate strategic plan in Tokyo in late May, Naoki Okamura, the global drugmaker’s representative director, president and CEO, was in New York City walking through the architecture and vision behind it.
