As Peptide Rulemaking Stalls, FDA Enforcement Moves Forward

While the FDA weighs a narrow, regulated path for compounded peptides, its enforcement arm is already taking action.

Since July, peptide therapeutics have been caught between two FDA processes moving at very different speeds: an advisory vote toward a narrow, legal path for compounded access, and an enforcement campaign against the sellers who didn't wait for it.
