Article

GSK Consumer Health Care has hired Simon Peel from sports apparel brand Adidas to lead its media team, replacing global head of media Scott Grenz.

Simon Peel, who was senior director of global media for Adidas for seven years, based in Amsterdam, will take over for Scott Grenz who was in charge of the pharmaceutical company’s global media strategy across connections planning, digital, media investment and media agency strategy.

Peel will be responsible for all aspects of the GSK's global media strategy and investment for brands, including Sensodyne, Voltaren and Centrum.

“Simon’s focus will be to deliver more meaningful and effective consumer connections that deliver brand growth. I believe his passion for building brands as well as deep expertise in digital media and performance marketing will make him an excellent addition to our GSK Team,” stated Meredith Herman, head of global marketing services and consumer experience at GSK Consumer Healthcare.
