MedAdvisor Solutions has rebranded as Adheris, restoring a name that has been a fixture in patient engagement for more than three decades.

MedAdvisor Solutions announced it is reverting to its original name, Adheris, effective immediately, with the change to be reflected across the company's branding, materials, and communications in the coming weeks.

The rebrand restores a name that dates back more than three decades in the patient engagement space. John Ciccio, chief executive officer and managing director, unveiled the new mark and framed the move as a return to the company's roots rather than a departure from its recent work. "Adheris is the name that pharmacy partners and pharmaceutical manufacturers have trusted for more than three decades," Ciccio said. "The rebrand restores the Adheris name, built through decades of putting the patient first and delivering engagement solutions that have the ability to change lives."

What is the company's track record?

Adheris has spent more than 30 years developing outcomes-driven engagement work and says it helped shape the category from its earliest days.1 The company now supports a network of an estimated 170 million American patients through its proprietary intelligent patient engagement platform, THRiV, which pairs precision segmentation with real-time adaptation of each patient's experience.

Adheris points to concrete outcomes from that platform, including returning approximately 65% of patients to therapy and driving more than 15.8 million incremental refills for clients in recent years.

Why rebrand now?

According to the company, the scale and experience built under the MedAdvisor Solutions name are the foundation for what comes next, not a plateau. The Adheris rebrand is described as a step toward expanding the company's role in the industry, with the stated goal of helping more patients understand, start, and stay on their prescribed therapies. The company is framing this as a continuation of work already underway rather than a strategic pivot, positioning the name change as a matter of identity catching up to an established reputation.

What actually changes, and what stays the same?

The company is clear that the name is what's changing, not its operating priorities. Adheris says its focus on effectiveness, reliability, and trust, all qualities the company says have defined its relationships since it was founded, will not change under the new name. Going forward, the company says it will continue to invest strategically in solutions aimed at elevating the patient experience, with an emphasis on reaching patients in the moments that matter most in their treatment journey through an individualized approach.

What comes next?

With more than 30 years of experience and a network of 170 million patients behind it, Adheris says it is expanding its capabilities into new therapeutic areas and engagement channels. The company, headquartered in the United States, describes its mission going forward as reimagining patient engagement every day in service of helping more patients live healthier lives. The public debut of the new identity at the NACDS Total Store Expo this week marks the first major test of how pharmacy partners and manufacturer clients respond to the restored Adheris name in the marketplace.
