The National Society of Pharmaceutical Sales Trainers has increased its partnership and service to the pharmaceutical sales industry by offering two excellent training workshops to member companies.
During 1997, the NSPST conducted six Train-the-Trainer workshops and three Coaching for Improved Performance seminars. Industry response to these course offerings was so positive that NSPST has increased the frequency of these workshops for 1998.
The NSPST Train-the-Trainer workshop can be a valuable tool for pharmaceutical companies promoting sales representatives into their sales training departments. The basic four-day course is a participation workshop that focuses on methods necessary to promote effective adult learning. The workshop emphasizes interaction, student involvement and feedback.
In response to requests from numerous companies, NSPST developed Coaching for Improved Performance in 1997. A total of 90 sales managers and trainers attended the seminar, which taught face-to-face coaching techniques that improve the performance of individuals and teams. The workshops were limited to 20 participants.
Both the Train the Trainer and Coaching for Improved Performance programs are available to individuals during scheduled public seminars. They are also available to companies for private seminars for their employees.
To register for a public seminar or schedule a session for your company, call the NSPST business office at (860) 675-1824. PR
