EFPIA's Richard Bergström Quits

EFPIA has announced that Richard Bergström is leaving the organization after serving as Director General for five years.

"After 15 fantastic years leading industry associations in Sweden and in Brussels, it is time for me to take on a fresh challenge,” Bergström said.

EFPIA president Joe Jimenez said that the organization has initiated the search for a new Director General: "This search is being led by Richard, to ensure that his successor stays the course of engagement and dialogue. Richard has given his commitment to remain in his role until a successor has been identified, to ensure a smooth handover."
