Two GSK research scientists are among five people federal prosecutors have indicted on charges of stealing trade secrets.   Infosecurity magazine reports that the two scientists, Yu Xue and Lucy Xi, are said to have emailed and downloaded information on around 12 products to co-conspirators who wanted to “market and sell” the trade secrets through a newly formed Chinese company, Renopharma. The Department of Justice alleges that many of the products targeted were designed to treat cancer or other serious diseases.   Yu Xue was fired by GSK earlier this month, while Lucy Xi left the company in November 2015.
