GSK: Legionnaires Disease Bacteria Causes Temporary Closedown of US Site

The Financial Times reports that GSK has temporarily shut down its Zebulon manufacturing site in North Carolina after a bacteria that causes Legionnaires disease was found in its cooling tower on Tuesday.

GSK said the bacteria had been isolated after routine testing and that it is “working to rectify and restore operations as soon as possible”.
