Study Shows Collaboration Benefits with Pharma and Non-Profits

Accenture, a global professional services company, released findings from its new Patient Services Study. The study shows that more collaboration between pharma companies and nonprofit organizations that support services and advocate for patients would deliver better patient experiences.

The study, which surveyed 4,000 U.S. and European patients, examines the role that patient organizations play in providing support, information, and other services to patients and whether better collaboration with pharma companies could improve the patient experience and care. The study focused on three different diseases/medical conditions-migraine, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia-selected due to their significant, yet different, impact on patients’ daily lives.
